John Ruskin
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. -John Ruskin, author, art critic, and social reformer (1819-1900) I am striving to develop this attitude. I say striving because as I get older, my natural tendency moves in the opposite direction. Sometimes it is easier than others. This week's weather makes me wonder what would be Ruskin's praise for sleet and freezing rain.
